Kazan Russia Hotels

In Warsaw, I was seduced by an official of the Polish Foreign Ministry, who elicited a series of questions about how to deal with Hitler and Stalin. Kazan State University is about 1 km from the hostel, and Kazan International Airport is 26.5 km away. From Moscow, you can take the Trans-Siberian Railway to Kazans in 11 hours or take the express train that takes you to the city centre in about 30 minutes. The airport is 22 away. 5 km away The airport bus takes about 1 hour, and from Moscow you can take the train to Krasnoyarsk, the capital of the Russian Federation, in about 2 hours.

The right bank of the Volga, formerly called the Gornaya storona, stretches for dozens of kilometres, and the 4.5 kilometre long artery that runs from St Petersburg is a must-do. There are, incidentally, two hotels in Kazan, one in Krasnoyarsk and the other in St Petersburg, both located on the same street, in Marquis de Kazanskaya Street, just a few metres from the airport.

Outside it is a vision of blue, white and gold, and the colorful iconography inside is richly decorated. Outside is real pine - but what spills out is so vivid that it stays alive in the Technicolor dreams of St. Petersburg in winter. Along the Volga and Bolaq canals lies the Staro Tatarskaya (Sloboda) district, where Islamic architecture and mosques are housed in colourful Tatar wooden buildings. Religious tolerance stretching back centuries means Russian onion domes and top-notch churches soar above the skyline.

There was a sex education school in the Soviet Union called State School 4, and Matthews believes the Kazan school has since closed and Russia is now using independent contractors as a honey trap. The World Heritage site - the Kremlin Citadel, a listed monument, is located near the Kul Sharif Mosque, and is considered the oldest Moscow citadel from the 10th century.
